Who we are

Our reindeer, our forest, our kitchen fire

Tokkana is a working reindeer farm run by a family in Kinisjärvi. In summer the herd roams free in the forest; when the snow comes they gather back home and we open the farm to visitors. Everything here is done by hand — the sleigh trail, the fire in the kota, the soup on the pot — so we can keep each visit small, personal and unforgettable.

More about the farm

Kota Café

Warm up by the open fire

Coffee, pancakes and sausages grilled over the fire — or a full Lappish dinner of sautéed reindeer and cloudberry cheesecake. Simple food, cooked the way it has always been cooked here.
